Moon Festival 2013

Saturday we celebrated Chinese Moon festival with our optical science geeks who all came from Taiwan by having a bbq in our apartment. The moon didn't join us. It was hiding behind some rain clouds, which perfectly cooled down the air a bit when we were almost finished and just chilled at the patio. This was also my girl's first bbq fun although she was a little confused by what makes it different between bbq and cooking. After a little contemplation, she told my husband that she figured bbq was to make food outdoor and cooking was to make food inside the house. haha...isn't that adorable?! I don't blame her because normally we do bbq with charcoals instead of electric grill. I guess it would make more sense to her if we used charcoals.
