Hiking with my girl again

Last Sunday we took our little girl to Madera Canyon again. My hubby needed to collect some insects for his research, so I decided to give myself some work out to do, carrying the little one who already weighs 31 lbs while climbing up and down in the canyon.

We saw a lot of families having barbecue by the entrance of the hiking area. It seemed a bit crazy to me to prepare so much stuff, such as food, water, and the barbecue equipment, and drive all the way down there for a not so cool weather canyon to chill out. Kids were running around, so I guess people just found a good way to let out their kids' energy. Well, I sometimes do things that I thought were crazy earlier. So just don't be surprised if one day you see us having barbecue at Madara Canyon too. Who knows?! haha....xoxo

Last time I took photos with my Nikon 55-200mm lens at the same spot. This time I played with a 28mm/f1.8 wide angle lens. I love taking portrait photos. Hope you will enjoy them too.

She didn't like it very much when some kind of flies were
 buzzing around her.

A fly kissed her on her ear. LOL
