Trip to Bisbee/ 古城Bisbee半日遊

I was still sweating in aerobics when my hubby, sitting at the computer, shouted that the painting class I signed up for Lindsay starts next Saturday. Ugh...

I enrolled a Saturday class in hope that my hubby can regain his bonding with Lindsay. Since Lindsay stopped letting daddy give her a bath, my hubby has felt less bonded with her. This morning, both of them were so excited to spend time together in the painting class without mommy. But I screwed up.

To not disappoint them, I suggested that we made a trip to Bisbee. Not sure why Bisbee, but it just popped up in my head. We have lived in Tucson for about 6 years, but just thinking of the nearly 2 hours drive makes me hesitate. However, I decided to make the trip this time partly because we may leave Tucson soon or probably just because I was too hypoxic to think of anything cooler. So here we are in Bisbee.

Bisbee is a really small old town. I guess 40 minutes are enough for walking through the town. Art galleries are scattered on the street. But I had no answer why arts are the spirit of such a small town. The style of the buildings in Bisbee was not very old fashioned. Perhaps they have been renovated or something.  But the town was still special and beautiful enough to attract tons of photographers. We'd met one or two photographers every couple minutes in our walk. We had lunch at a lovely local restaurant called Savory Spot and finished the trip by having ice cream at the hotel near the entrance of the town. Although it was just a two hours visit in the town, we've enjoyed the feeling of get away so much...

大概1.5歲左右小QQ就嫌爸爸太粗魯，不再讓他幫她洗澡, 讓老公頓時覺得地位不保, 好像跟QQ的親密度不如前, 於是就特地把QQ的畫畫課排在星期六，讓他們有多一點親子時間，然後我就可以在家蹺腳上網(大誤)。

兩個人一早都很期待，老公還穿得很帥氣要跟女兒約會去，但在出門前一刻才發現我搞烏龍了，是下星期才開始上課。看著兩個傻呼呼的人都已準備好要出門的那個模樣，實在是太悲情了，於是雖然身上還滴著剛做完運動的汗，還是趕快擦乾身體，快速化好妝，然後提議全家出遊去Bisbee古城走走吧。

我完全是個行動派的人，只是聽到查完地圖的老公說要開1小時40分鐘的車，還真是讓人退怯。有必要那麼拚嗎? 不過, 外面天氣實在太好了, 不出門對不起老天爺和這已著裝完畢的父女, 於是我還快速地準備好水果和三明治, 立馬前往Bisbee。

小QQ知道要出門時心情真的超好的, 但坐在車上差不多1小時後, 我們都已經開始無聊起來了, 不過隨著風景開始愈來愈不像Tucson, 沒有仙人掌, 到處都是樹和大岩石, 離開每天看的地方，心情就是會不自覺地又開心起來。果然我們還是需要靠旅行來充電，才有努力的動力。 

Bisbee這個城市最著名的是它的礦產文化，但他們不建議幼兒參觀，所以我們只剩下城鎮本身可以逛了。但其實比起其他古城，Bisbee真的沒有太古老的特色，也沒有很西部牛仔那種強烈的風格，不過偶爾能遠離城市，在一個安靜的小鄉鎮隨處走走繞繞，吃當地的餐廳，還是過了一個很放鬆的週末。
