Today, we went to Reid Park Zoo. Zoos have been my favorite hideaway for centuries. I can sit on the ground and watch polar bear swimming for an hour. Animals surely set my mind at ease.
My baby had no idea what to do at the zoo in the first place. I pointed the tiger and peacocks to her and she was just too busy watching people around her. She finally got the idea of what we were doing here when she saw giraffes. I didn't know if she thought of the giraffes on her book, Jungle Animals, but she was definitely interested in them. She kicked her legs joyfully and waved and cooed to the giraffes. I could never take off my eyes from her because I was so in love with her friendliness to things around her. I hope she will grow up to be a person who always knows how to appreciate things and shows her feelings.
Love you, my sweetheart.
